Opening Day

Sunday 5/20 marked the opening day for the LT-5's 2012 season.  We fired the diesel generators and took on fresh water.  We did some painting and shellacking.  Put out the display items from storage, the ribbons and the phoney .50 cal machine guns.  Turned the lifeboat right side up and other minor tasks to get it ready for tours.

Here is Keith and Bill heading in to start work. Captain Lance and Don had already arrived and opened the doors and removed the tarp from the stack.  We took to long at breakfast I suppose.
